Giving access to Family plan to children without email address

Hello,

We have a Family subscription. At the moment we are using our personnal accounts for our children. But we would like to add them in separate accounts.

We need the ability to do that without having to create them a personnal email account.

How can we do that ?

Unfortunately, the Premium for Family plan requires each individual to have his/her's own account - you can read all about the plan's requirements in this support page. 

However, i'd like to point out that Spotify had just launched a new service called "Spotify Kids" starting in Ireland at the moment.

I would strongly suggest following the Spotify Newsroom  and keeping an eye on when it becomes available else where.

In addition, the Spotify commmunity has a great section called "Ideas".

This section is basically an open stage for Spotify users to raise their thoughts/suggestion up for voting.

I had a look at the "spotigy kids" description. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit to my case. My kids aren't that young. They can already find the music they want by using the regular app. 

The only requirement is to get access to an existing family account without having a proper email/facebook account, as this one is used for authentication as I understand.

I'm disappointed, as the Family plan does not really fit to my definition of family (parent + children), but to an older type of family (parents+teenagers) 😞
