I cannot get password reset email...

Please help me, this is the situation:

I made a free spotify account with my goggle email on macbook. I'm living in china, so I used vpn to create the account. I I restarted my phone and my account has been logged out from my phone, but I can't log in again. I do remember the email that I used for sign up, but I cannot remember the password; I think I logged in without password on my phone when I logged in the first time. So, I tried to reset my password, but I have not received any email from spotify. My email is working (i checked it), but I don't know why I can't get the password reset email. I tried to log in with other devices, but it doesn't work... I even tried to connect vpn to the country that connected to make the account, but still doesn't work. I really want to find my playlist in my account.....

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

In this type of situation, you can try with the following:

• Check your spam/junk folders, or any other filtered folders.
• Reset your password again, but this time open the emailed link in a private or incognito browser.
• Try from a different device, if possible, with a incognito browser as well.
• Try with a different internet network, if possible.

If none of the above does the trick, it might just be a temporary connection issue, so we advise you to wait some hours since your last attempt to try again as well.
