Incorrect password

Incorrect password

I can't login into Spotify android app, it keeps saying that password is incorrect and sends link to email for changing it. Password change doesn't help. But I still can login through browser and not an app. Already tried to reinstall app - doesn't help. Tried to copy / paste password to avoid typos - doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Thanks for keeping us in the loop! 

 

Can you click here and check if the country is correct? Sometimes the country could lead to some issues.

 

If you've been more than 14 days abroad, it's a good idea to check these steps and update the country. Then you can try again opening the app and logging into the account.

We can see that you've tried some troubleshooting steps that are very good. Can you also try restarting the device? It's also a good idea to give these steps a go and clear the cache. That way you can make sure the cache is not leading to this issue.

 

If you receive an error message, you can send us a screenshot of it. We'll investigate this further.

Already tried to reinstall app, restart phone and clear cache - doesn't help.Now  It's keep saying that there is no Internet connection, try again later , but there is Internet connection. Phone : Oneplus 6t. App installed from Google play (18.08.2020 latest version) .

Can you check in the Settings if the app is allowed to use the mobile data? If not, you can turn that option on. It's also a good idea to try with another connection.

 

If you have any battery optimization or power saving apps for Spotify, we'd suggest you deactivate them for the app.

App is allowed to use Internet. It was working fine just yesterday. No battery saving mode and already tried both mobile and WiFi network - nothing helps ๐Ÿ˜ž
