My User Name No Longer Shows Up in Search Results

My Question or Issue

I recently disabled my Facebook for a brief time. My Spotify still worked, however, no one can find my profile nor my Playlists in a search. After the period was over I wanted to hide from, I enabled my Facebook again.

I logged out of Spotify. Installed the latest version. Logged back in and RELINKED it back to Facebook. Still, my profile name or Playlists no longer show up in any searches in Spotify. It’s like my public record has been wiped! Please help. I have friends who are trying to find me after I persuade them to sign up and follow me.

Also in my account, the email and birthdate do NOT match my Facebook profile. Something is bugging on my account. Please have someone reset or tell me how to fix this corruption?

Hey @stunami, welcome to the Community!

You'll need to edit the date of birth and email address from Facebook so it can update on Spotify. 

For friends to find your account, they'll need to use the link to your profile. You can get this by going to your profile > clicking the 3 dots under your username > Copy Profile Link.

They'll need to use this method since you unlinked your account from Facebook. 

If you'd like, you can set up an account without Facebook and start from scratch. If you'd like to go through with this, reach out to us on Twitter or Facebook with your account info.

I did all this already.

1. My birthdate in facebok is correct. 

2. I changed my email in facebook months ago and Spotify has not updated it in my account.
3. I already reconnected to facebook.
4. I Reinstalled Spotify
5. I Relaunched. 

Problem persists. I suspect a corrupted profile. I appreciate next level support. I already did canned responses.

I am PAYING for a service that offers NO direct help with a clear BUG in my account. Go ahead and test. do a search for "Stu Nami Smith" If I don't show up, when I used to, then there is NOTHING I can do. I need direct help from tech support. I've already conducted the canned tech support answers with no success. Spotify HELP.

Im having the same issue, and I cant seem to search for other friends either, this something I noticed about a month ago, since the update from May.
