Personally Generated Playlists Dont Exist/ Dont work

I signed up for Spotify Premium a little over a week ago, and I have to say that I am pretty disappointed. Part of the reason I signed up for the service was for the generated playlists to my own music taste. 

I have not gotten a daily mix of any kind and discover weekly is just a repeating playlist of about 20 songs. 

I have ave tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone (iphone 8), but it did not resolve the issue. When I use the desktop cite, the issue still persists. 

I’ve seen some people online saying it takes weeks to generate, but I have had a Spotify account for much longer than my premium account. Nothing happened for me then either. 

I’d rather not cancel my subscription right after getting it, but I feel like one of the primary draws of the service is completely cut off to me.

Thanks for posting about this and welcome to the Community!

Keep in mind that we need to get to know you and the music you like, so it might take a few weeks of listening to receive Your Daily Mixes.

In general, the more you listen, the faster your Daily Mixes will generate, and the better and more varied they’ll become.

If you've been listening to a variety of songs from non personalized playlists and you're still having troubles after a couple of weeks, we'd suggest logging out and back in your account to shake things up.

If that doesn't do the trick, make sure that the app is updated on all your devices. You can follow the steps here to do so.
