I have solved the problem!
It turns out that the facebook app was signed into my wife's facebook account, even though my account was on the preferences for the iPad.
I logged out of hers and into my facebook account. At this point spotify still didn't work. So I deleted and reinstalled again, and it worked.
Apparent moral of the story: you have to be signed into your account on the facebook app when you download spotify, or spotify will be and remain confused.

I have exactly the same problem as Wukoson - Spotify was working fine last week but now I just have a blank screen and a control panel display that doesn't respond. I've deinstalled and reinstalled to no effect. I'm on iOS 7.0.2. Spotify is working fine on my iphone and on my Mac. I would be very grateful for any thoughts on how to fix the ipad.
Hey @pinkwigger 🙂
Would you be able to try fully restarting the iPad by holding the home and lock buttons together until the apple logo appears on the screen?

Do you login with Facebook on your computer, or do you use a username?
It is possible you have created a duplicate account, if it isn't registering it and you've tried a reinstall. What does it say on your subscription overview?
Liam
I log in via facebook on the computer.
The subscription overview doesn't appear to me to say anything that's relevant to the situation. I copied and pasted it below. I don't know how to tell from it whether there's a duplicate account.

I just wanted to confirm you had an active premium subscription 🙂
Do you have a username? If so, try using that to login. Also, I know you have already tried this, but try another reinstall. If that doesn't work I'll escalate this because it does seem a bit strange.
Liam
According to my account overview, I have a ten digit username that I don't believe I've ever used. I don't know the password associated with it, if I have one.
I'll go ahead and reinstall now, even though I just did it.
As expected, the reinstall didn't change anything.
What is your username as displayed on your online overview?

So I went on to my computer and bought Spotify premium right off the bat - went straight to my iPad and had a 48 hour trial. Now every time I keep tryign to play my play lists from my user name it pops up Only Preium users can stream on demand. Well I went back double checked and I definitely have Premium.
Thinking it would fix, I clicked the button to use my devices and was given a number code, asked to create a password. I went on my iPad entered this information but when I go into my playlsits everything fro my original account is gone and it is only picking up my iTunes information.... What gives?
@sba6kv - If you log into your online overview and it says you have premium:
- If your Spotify username shown on that page is one you have chosen, log in using that username and your Spotify password.
- If its a number, log in using your Facebook details and you should get to your premium.
If that doesn't work, might be worth a quick clean reinstallation of the app and then trying again.

hey,
I got the spotify premium more than one year and I use the offline mode on my iPhone 5 and my car. Yesterday my ios say to me that I need tu upgrade my account but spotify did charge me last 3 days for the current month. I tried every thing that i found on the internet, but on the online overview page of spotify, i can see that my account did not change the date for the premium account, it stands that the premium period is currently the 14. march 2014.
I need your help guys.....
