My Question or Issue

Hi There,

Thanks in advance for any help, I'm in quite the predicament.

Spotify changed my password due to potential fraudulent activity, but I don't remember the associated email address. All I have is the username. 

I spent 2 hours with chat support but they will not do a single thing unless I can supply them with the email address.

I found the cache files on my phone and on my desktop for the username I log in with and wondered if there is any way I can find the associated email within them, or if anyone has any other ideas! 

I've attached a screenshot of the files that are in the user cache folder. The top folder is from my phone and bottom from my desktop.

Thanks for any help! Desperate to retrieve my private playlists.

I recommend you go get in touch again with the Support. If you provide payment details then an agent should be able to retrieve the account.

Hi There,

I'm afraid that wasn't able to work as I was a member on a family account so the billing is not in my name. Whilst originally trying to work out why I couldn't login we disconnected from the family account and tried to reconnect so sadly lost records of the account from there!
