Searching my music

Is there a way to search my music for songs and/or artists?  I have to scroll down to find an artist or song.  I'm wondering if there's an easier way?

Usually my iPhone.  I tried at home on my iMac and still couldn't figure it out.

When using your Mac, if you'd like to locate a specific song/artist within a playlist simply hold Cmd and F to bring up a box into which you can enter the name of the artist/album/song you're looking for. Any terms that don't match will be filtered out. Hope this helps!
