Spotify Scamming Me?

I just happened to go on my account to see if I could cancel my current subscription to get the 3 months for 99p deal, which I can't. (Great customer loyalty scheme spotify...) And it said that my next account renewal was going to be for SPOTIFY FAMILY rather than premium, which is another £5 a month. I did NOT EVER agree to this upgrade and I find it extremely f*cking disgusting.

Hi @TomBascombe. Sorry to hear that you've run into an issue. Unfortunately the 3 month for 99p is only available as a trial offer to accounts that have not previously been enrolled in premium. Since your account has been subscribed to premium your account does not qualify for the offer. As to why you've been enrolled into a family plan, that is an interesting predicament. I would recommend reaching out to support and seeing if they can figure out why that happened. Support can be reached one of three ways: through the online contact form; on twitter by reaching out to @SpotifyCares; or by sending a message to the Spotify Cares Facebook page. Please be aware that responses may take anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on the volume of tickets support is currently handling.

In regards to the contact form, upon filling it out you should receive a confirmation email, usually a generic message containing the information you provided and instructions to visit these forums. If after 24 hours you do not hear back from a support team member, please reply directly back to the confirmation email, even if it originates from a no-reply address. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If it is not present there, please attempt using one of the other contact methods, or, if you are unable to use the alternatives, please let me know.
