Hi,
I have my first song releasing in 3 weeks and have just claimed my Spotify Artist Page, but when I go to "Music" > "Upcoming Music" it says "Not eligible to pitch - pitch something that's never been streamed before". My release date is 3 weeks in advance though. How can I fix this so that I can submit to playlists?
Thanks!
I have the same problem and i have 200k+ monthly listeners
Hey there folks,
Thanks for reaching out. We here in the Community are more focused on helping with account and app related issues, as well as user feedback. For any questions regarding music you have uploaded or want to upload to Spotify, it’s best to contact our Artist Support team, they can assist you further.
Hope this clears things up.
Hey did you ever get this sorted? Having the same issue now.
Before a song is released on Spotify, it needs to go through an aggregator, which is responsible for publishing the music on streaming platforms. It's important to mention that the Spotify for Artists team is available to help, but they can usually provide support only after the song is already in the system.
If you're having trouble scheduling the release of a song with a three-week lead time and receiving an error message, it's recommended to contact your aggregator. The aggregator is the company responsible for handling the submission and distribution of your music to streaming platforms, including Spotify.
The aggregator will have direct access to the information and specific details about the song submission. They can check for any issues in the submission process, such as incorrect information or settings that are preventing the proper scheduling of the release.
Remember to reach out to your aggregator as soon as possible, informing them about the issue you're facing. They will have the necessary expertise to analyze the situation and provide the appropriate guidance to fix any problems and properly schedule the release of your song on Spotify.
The Spotify for Artists team can assist once the song is in the system, but for resolving release scheduling and qualification issues, your aggregator can provide direct assistance. I hope this explanation helps. Best of luck with your release!
