Spotify isn't granting me full access even after payment

Spotify isn't granting me full access even after payment

I'm currently paying for a premium service, but am receiving the spotify is only available abroad for 14 days messaging, indicating that it seems to think I'm on the free service. Why am I not being granted the full service as paid for?

I have the same problem! Moreover I am living abroad since already one year but today it was the first time this message appeared and now I can't even log in with my phone... please help!!

Hi! Welcome to the Spotify Community. Sorry to hear about this!

 

This may sound stupid, but have you tried a quick reinstall? This fixes a lot more problems than you would think!

 

Also @miyara, are you living in another country permenantly? If so, you may wan't to change countries.

Thank you for your kind welcome and for your help!! Unfortunately the re-install didn't change the situation.. I don't know what else to do! 😞

If I change country, will I pay the same amount? Moreover, I am going to move again in a few months.. how many times can I change Spotify country and what are the implications?

Okey. Here's what I'm thinking:

 

If you did recieve an email, it sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails--that will mean your extra account is registered with that email. 

 

If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually. 

  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address. 

If you did not recieve an email, it sounds like you didn't complete the cancellation process. Please give that another try via your subscription page. You'll then receive a confirmation email shortly after that.

I found out what happened!!!!!!!!!!

 

Today it was supposed to be the day of the payment, but just this month my credit card has expired!! I got the new card from my bank last month, but I forgot to change the payment detailes in my spotify account.. it was so easy!!! So now I updated the data and it's working again!! It is strange that I didn't get any e-mail from spotify saying there were problems with the payment..

 

Anyway, thank you for trying and I hope others may learn from this experience 😉
