Student discount isn't processing

Student discount isn't processing

Hi,

 

I signed up for premium a week ago and realized I could get a student discount. I got my student status certified, and then when I went to put in the rest of my information to apply the discount, I kept on getting looped back to the original page. I tried canceling my current premium account and doing the same process, but the student discount still wouldn't get processed. Has this happened to anyone else? it's been a really frustrating process; I must have put my credit card information in almost twenty times and it still doesn't accept the student account.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I actually just discovered this!  Just signed up and verified manually, received the email, and then eventually got looped.  It only says premium $9.99 and not the $4.99.  I assume it may rollover after the next payment, but I would like to know if I truly am verified.

I would suggest that you get in touch with Spotify support directly so they can check this out for you guys. There are several ways to get in touch!

If you have Twitter, following and dropping a Tweet to @SpotifyCares (English), @SpotifyAyuda (Spanish) or @SpotifyAjuda (Portuguese) is often the fastest way to get a reply and they can deal with the majority of issues excluding payment/billing issues.

Alternatively, you can email them (in any language) using the online contact form. There is also a special contact form if you can't remember your login details or the email address on your account is incorrect. The contact form support team should be able to handle absolutely any issue you are having!

When getting in touch via the contact forms, if you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the support agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've sent a few e-mails, and I've only received two automated e-mails, that I responded to, and 1 from a staff member.  However the staff member pretty much just copied the FAQ and didn't help with this issue.
