My Question or Issue

i am unable to change my email address. it has an old one listed that i have not used in over 4 years. i signed up through facebook with my current email address, which facebook also has listed as the email address through spotify. i would like to change it to my current email so i can connect the google home mini to the google account i have been using.

I have this same issue. I removed all links between Facebook and the account using my email address, but am still unable to edit the email address on the account originally created using FB. I have Family Premium on a different account, which uses my work email address, but I want to change that to my personal email address--I just can't, because my personal email address is in use from the account created by Facebook.

Same here and I think we may be S.O.L.  Canceling my account and creating a new one is a sucky option as I don't want to lose all of my playlists, but I think that is the only way I'm going to be able to change my email address.  So frustrating!

As written on the help page i provided, it's not possible to change your e-mail address on a Facebook created Spotify account.

I actually just want to delete the Facebook created Spotify account, but have searched and searched, and not finding a way to do that. Any suggestions?

Thank you @OneByBoo! I had already disconnected Facebook, so the stpes in option 1 weren't applicable (still couldn't change my email address). However, the link you sent included a link on how to close my account, which I was able to do. Crazy how difficult this was. Now that the account is closed, I was able to change the email address on my primary account to use that email. Thanks!
