connected to facebook but no friends in list

My Question or Issue

My account is linked with my Facebook account, yet I can't seem to be able to find any friends and connect with them. I tried logging in through the app and the PC and it's the same. there's something wrong. my Facebook says that the Spotify is ineed connected and granted access.

besides that, spotify won't load the profile pictures from Facebook to my spotify account.

I've had a spotify account in the past which I deleted for hacking reasons (it was used by someone else and nothing I could do wouldn't work).

Now I want to give it a new try. and this facebook thing is really annoying. I'm trying to follow my friends and connect with their playlists.

Sounds like you might have opted out of sharing your data with Facebook. You can check this on your account page here. You should also make sure that on Facebook's end here, Spotify should be allowed to have access to personal data.
