issue with logging into the Desktop application

issue with logging into the Desktop application

There's been an ongoing issue with Spotify account/Desktop application where it suddenly won't let me log-in using my Facebook account credentials.  I've been falling back on my iPhone app and the web app but would really love to be able to get back to using the Desktop app, as it's the best way to use Spotify in my opinion.

 

Anyone have any ideas for getting this issue fixed?  I tried restarting my comp, clicking the "Log in with Facebook" button while Facebook was already open in a browser tab, etc.  😕

Hey Michael!

 

If you're able to log onto Spotify using other devices, you might consider reinstalling your desktop app. Just follow these steps.

 

Nifty tip (or if you've already done that): Try entering your Facebook email address as the username when you log in.

I already tried all of those troubleshoot tips but without any success.
Thanks for the tip about reaching out to Spotify Support though, I just
gave that at try.
