play count doesn't update

on spotify you see the streams, they update every day, they didn't update for 3 days and i'm not the only one

Does the play count actually get updated daily? 

I've tried for the past three days to check and they haven't updated...

Is there anything I can do to update it ?

Hey Tedwards!

The play count should be updated daily (24 hours cycle).
Unfortunately, there are no methods of updating it yourself.

If you believe It's an issue with the play counter, feel free to post in issue list!

I’m having the same problem, no play counts have been updated for four days now. My band just released a new single almost a week ago, this is really bad timing. It updates for the artist’s private view but only for the “past 28 days”, switch to all time and the numbers go down to the same as they are publicly. Seems like a technical issue somebody needs to fix. Also, I can’t find an “issues list”, so if this is not the appropriate place to get help for this, what is?

Play counts for the last year has updated exactly at 8am U.S. MST but not since Monday.

On artists.spotify, when I check the daily plays, I'm clearly generating over 10k plays per day on several tracks, but when it updated today, only two of the 20 tracks I monitor went up a few hundred. If you count the plays according to Spotify for Artists, it should have gone up by at least 43k.

So you aren't the only one bro. Those tracks I'm monitoring are on official Spotify playlists that shuffle the track order once or twice a day and those playlists generate at least 10k listeners per day, so this has nothing to do with fake plays or anything since there are 10k legit listeners daily.
