I have a pretty good Canton sound system in my Skoda Superb. While I'm in park position, and listening to songs via Spotify (Android Auto), the volume (set to 20%) is very loud, very good quality, full bass and so on.
If I then start driving, I need to turn up the volume to nearly 70% in the car, to have similar volume like before in park position (20%). But the bass and sound quality is not compareable anymore, it's pretty bad while driving. Can you please fix this issue together with the Android Auto Team? You will notice that thousands of people experiencing this issue (just google it, reddit and so on). And yes I tried also to turn on/off the car volume adjustment function for driving, nothing helps.

Hi there @Fbnt,
Thanks for reaching out!
This sounds like there might be a safety feature in your car or Android Auto settings causing this, so it's worth looking for any options related to audio ducking or volume management to double-check if that's the case. Some of the users in this thread suggest something similar, so you can take a look at it as well to see if it helps.
The Community is always here in case there's anything else.
Unfortunately it has nothing to do with the speed-volume topic, as this setting doesn't fix the problem (if I turn it on or off, problem still exists). Can you please investigate further (also with the Android Auto team)? Thank you!
Hi @Fbnt,
Thanks for the info.
We'll happily pass your feedback onto the appropriate team. Be advised however that we cannot say for certain at the moment when or if this is going to get addressed.
Also be advised that we don't have direct contact with the Android or Android Auto teams, as this is outside of Spotify's field. If you'd like, you can also report this issue to them separately.
Cheers!
I have this exact same issue and it's soooo frustrating! Max volume is barely 50% of what i used to get. Please fix this with Android Auto.
