[Android] Storage location continues to change after each update

I've been experiencing that the Spotify premium app on my S7 loses where I set my storage location after each and every update of the app. This has been going on for several months now. I noticed only one other recent thread and the status update was just that of we're telling our team about it and the thread has since been closed. Is there an update on where the fix with this feature is? As a traveler it is a real pain to check each morning that I'm going to have access to my music. Thank you for an update.
