Android app crashes shortly after opening

My Question or Issue

A few seconds after opening Spotify, the app crashes. I can choose to play the currently selected playlist before it crashes and it will continue, but it will crash before I can do anything else unless the current playlist is playing. My device tells me the app has a bug.

When did this start happening? Is it only on your Galaxy? Consider performing a clean reinstall if you haven't, this will clear any damaged cache that may be causing this and that should help get everything working properly again.
