My Question or Issue

Hi all , lately when I go to the library and albums section in Spotify via android auto and I press albums , the albums load but when I click an album i just doesn't load and I get a message " something is wrong " if I go to the download section everything works fine , just wondered if anyone has any idea why albums won't play , thanks

Same problem here. Pixel 10 and 2024 Subaru outback.

Same problems here for a few weeks now.

Same issue.  New hyundai venue.  No issue in my wifes hyundai.   Ive used different versions of spotify.  Ive reset the infotainment system. Disabled/reenabled android auto.  Dont know else to do.  And it is only when i choose an album not playlists.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else. I can load playlists without a problem, but albums don't seem to want to load at all. I just get the "something went wrong" message. I've cleared cache, uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify and uninstalled/reinstalled the latest Android update, bit nothing has worked.

Lets go spotify!!!!  Real quick in increasing your monthly subscription rate.

Thanks, any updates on this?

Popping in to add the to have been having this issues lately as well. Certain albums will open, some give "Something Is Wrong", then I have to go into my actual phone which defeats convenience and safety. Playlists load fine, as others have said.

Using Galaxy S25+

Same problem over here, using pixel 5 and driving Mazda3 sport. When loading albums I get the error message 'something went wrong'. Absolutely unacceptable in 2026!

I have the same problem. I have almost 800 songs downloaded to my phone as lossless quality and half my albums won't load. My guess is it's too many songs for the car system to load.

Today's update unfortunately didn't fix the bug. Sad.

I thought the dude who mentioned that too many albums was onto something....  Deleted a whole bunch of albums....same issue

Seems like it is working now.  Funny though.  When it displays the songs, there is a matrix-like fuzzy thing that happens.  Then it is fine.

I updated to the latest 9.1.30.1993 and the problem has gone away for me.

Absolute Champion

Just updated and works for me

Ok. Its works ^^ thank you Spotify 🙂

Seems to be fixed for me this morning. Thanks Spotify.

Hey folks,

We've made some changes backstage so this should now be fixed for everyone - just make sure you're running the latest version of the app.
