My Question or Issue
I can't open the Spotify App, it just shows the logo for a few seconds, then closes and gives me the error "Spotify keeps Stopping". I have tried pretty much everything except for a factory reset:
Clean Reinstall
Restarting my phone
Clearing the cache and all data
Enabling all Permissions
Deactivating Battery Saver for the App
I even logged out of all devices
Nothing would help. I even tried to google the error code but that also doesn't really help. Here's the error code if it helps:

Hi again, I logged in to another android device just now and it worked as usual.
Hey @luielvi,
Thanks for testing it out and getting back to us.
As we haven’t seen any similar posts about this, we feel this is most likely isolated to your device or specific setup. To that end we recommend that you perform a factory reset of your phone. We understand how this can cause some inconvenience but it should resolve the issue, given that your account doesn't display the same behavior on other devices.
Hope this helps. Keep us posted on your progress.
I'm sorry it took me so long to answer.
I'm happy to inform you that taking out the SD-card and then do a clean/new installation of the app helped me. After the installation I put the card back in. Now I am able to save my music on the card, Spotify has moved the data and didn't crash after the restart. Hurray.
Big thank you!
Hey @LiaPasaro,
Thanks for keeping us posted 🙂
Glad to hear it worked out and everything is running smoothly again.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll be happy to help.
Stay safe!
This is definitely still an issue. Just selected the sd card as storage. Now I can't start the app. Deleting the cache doesn't help. Restarting the device doesn't help. I have to reinstall the app and redownload everything (I don't even know what I had offline). 😞 😞 😞
