Cannot re-install Spotify app on Android.

Solved!

Cannot re-install Spotify app on Android.

Hello.
I have looked on FAQ's and forum and cannot find this question already asked.

How can I re-install Spotify app so that it recognises my phone, rather than saying email and username already in use.

I have Huawei Y360, Android 4.4.2, Build VER. A.

I Downloaded and installed Spotify app with no issues.
But my memory was getting full, installed SD card, rooted and set storage to SD card, tried to transfer to SD card from Settings, but function was not supported.

So un-installed then re-installed.
But still saved to internal storage, so was going to use it regardless of storage location.

But when I tried to sign up it said email and username already in use.
Was able to log on to website o.k.
I was going to clean then re-install but I think it will just do the same thing again.

Hi @Bigbelliedbob!

Welcome to the Spotify community 🙂 We've recently released a new version of Spotify for Android users.

Try reinstalling the app again and see if that makes any difference.

Let us know how it goes.

Re-installing it did work, but had to clear some memory first.
After it didn't work I had downloaded some other apps after uninstalling Spotify; so had to wait till I had finished with those apps, sorry for the delay.
