My Question or Issue

As of today the 'Car Mode' is missing from my settings. I have it on all the time for driving before and after work, but when I started playing music this morning it defaulted to the main play view with no sign of the setting.

Is this feature removed or is it a bug? Does anyone else have this problem?

Hey @jordypeatpeat,

I noticed the same thing recently Car Mode seems to have disappeared for a lot of users. It might be part of Spotify phasing it out or replacing it with something like Car Thing or improved Android Auto support. I rely on it a lot too since I manage a san diego car service, and having a distraction-free interface during rides was super helpful.

You might want to check if Google Assistant integration is enabled, or try using Android Auto if your car supports it—it gives a similar simplified UI. Hopefully Spotify brings back a dedicated mode for safer in-car use!
