Issue with premium account...

Hey,

I just got a new phone a Moto g 4g. I log in to my premium account but the only benefit I can see is no adds. All I can do is shuffle play with my account. I'm 100% using a premium account that I pay for monthly. Can anyone help me out on why this might be? if I can't fix this I'll have to cancel and stick with Google play music were UV an account too. I like Spotify more then googles service so id luv to get this solved asap. I hope to hear any help. I'll b very great full. Thx.

A few checks:

Are you tapping the song title? You can ignore the big Green shuffle button.

Are you logged in on the correct account premium was applied. So a Spotify account as opposed to logging in with Facebook which will be treated like a new account.

Does it say you have premium at Spotify.com/account?

Can you log out on the app and back in again to force a check?

I had spotify for a while now, I got a 3 month free trial from sprint in May. I signed in that account the same way I did my old account through facebook. My free trial ended in July and I started getting billed $9.99 on my sprint but my premium services stopped working and is now saying that im a free subcriber. Sprint told me to contact you guys, so i emailed you and he said there was a problem with sprint customers but it has been resolved and to caontact sprint to reconnect my account. Called sprint and told them what the guy said and they said they have no way to reconnect my account the only thing they do is offer free trials. The lady sent me another free trial code it worked for a day then went back to a free account. I then emailed the guys back Tuesday (9/22) with a picture of my sprint bill showing that I was paying  them though my sprint bill and I haven't heard back. I really like spotify but I hate they way you have to communicate with them and I'm not going to keep paying for something Im no getting.

Sounds like you may have signed up for a free account by accident. I recommend you contact spent and ask them to remove your Spotify account so you can resubmit as part of the free offer, rather than free trial. If you look in the 'account and subscription' forum you will find several posts stating  the same

yes I've of course tried tapping on a individual song but no joy d shuffle is d only way to pay.... UV logged in n out loads of times no joy! I think I'll. cancel not getting what I'm paying hard earned money for I'll give it a day c what happens. Thx for our reply k.

Can you contact Spotify Support using the form here, there may be an issue they can fix for you. 

You will get an automated reply at first, however if you need to chase them just reply to the email as it does get monitored.

I have a similar problem, I have a subscription with one of your partners (Telefonica Mexico -Movistar-). they offered me a Premium account for as long I have the subscription with them. Since monday morning i sign up into my spotify account and appears this message "Your subscription with one of our partners has just ended, so you are now using spotify free. Don't worry, you can get back to Premium here."... What should i do to get back to my premium account?
