When listening to a podcast, after pausing for a period of time, the podcast restarts.

Just to confirm, does this only occur in your Google Pixel XL device? If so, we'd first suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps provided here.

On another note, if this is happening while logged in with your account on different devices, we'd suggest trying logging in with a different account to check if the issue persists.
