No message after redeeming code

Hi there.. 

 

I just got a giftcard from a friend. 100 Sek. I tryed to redeem it and i get to the point where i get promted to type the pin-code down. After i push the redeem button and my webpage turns blank. Nothing happends. If I refresh i get back to where it wants my code again.

 

I know it's case sensitive, i know it a giftcard etc etc.

 

Any ideas?

@aracellyjavier - Try copy and pasting the link into your browser rather than clicking on it from the email.

If you look at the link closely, the code should be in the URL too.

I've tryed Chrome and Safari. No sucess yet :-/.

 

Any other ideas?

 

i have a same problem. 

 

Chrome gives error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE) and Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

I've redeemed serveral spotify cards and I have never experienced any problems.

 

However a few minutes ago my code did not do the trick either...

 

We have already tried a different computer on another location.

 

So, I am also thankful for suggestions!

Mine turnes blank too... I already contacted spotify about it. Don't think that's going to do too much good though.

Same problem here, just bought my first ever Spotify giftcard, trying to redeem the code (Chrome & I.E.) and neither work.

Not a good start to my spotify experience ;(

It doesn't say the code is invalid or has been used. It just says something went wrong, try again or check the help pages. I've tried it a good few times and checked on the FAQs and there doesn't seem to be anything to help!

 

Anyone shed any light on why it's not working?

I don't know what the problem is.But me and a friend have the same problem.
I am going to search the forums. I'll keep you up to date.

The page doesn't turn blank anymore, i just get an error message: 'oops, something went wrong. Try again or go to the help-section'. Every single time...

Same as Annes. Beginning to wonder if after buying the gift card does it take a few hours to enter your system?

Just need to get some clarification here - Are these codes purchased in a store, or ecodes from our website?

I bought my card in the same shop as always.

 

Until now I have never had any problems entering the code. 

 

It has always worked immediately and flawless.

 

 

I bought mine in a shop too: the supermarket.

Yep. Purchased mine in the supermarket and it's doing the very same.
