My Question or Issue
I'm having some issues with the widget. The widget cover image is very low res and most of the text is cut off. Please see attachments. The cover looks perfect in full screen in the app and in the side bar.
Is there a way to modify the widgets settings further. Such as size, buttons, or colors?
Operating System
Android 10

Hey @Jaitsujin,
Thanks for the reply.
The album arts and cover arts are optimized for viewing within the app itself. This is why they might appear lower resolution on different devices and screens. This includes tablets, car systems, and even some monitors.
As we've mentioned above, Spotify is aware of this, however we don't have info on whether they're planning to fix it soon.
If you think other users might also like to have higher resolution images in widgets, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.
We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.
