This is where we share updates from behind the scenes and let you know what has been fixed, what we’re tracking, what we need your help with, and where things stand. FIXED
1. 3-month offer expires after 1 month
The wording around this offer was a bit confusing so our team made the necessary changes and the issue was resolved 😎
2. Your Niche Mixes no longer found in Made for You
The "Your Niche Mixes" section is back again in the Made For You search hub, thanks for flagging everyone! 💚
3. [Web Player] Playlists only show the first 25 songs
This was quite a widespread issue so we're happy it was fixed pretty quickly.
4. This page got tripped out
Our tech folks confirmed this was a fixed and there weren't any new comments in the thread afterwards so assuming it's all good for everyone now! 🤞
5. Users getting a black screen when trying to watch music videos on full screen
We didn't see any new comments after the announcement that it was fixed, should be resolved for everyone now!
6. Bandnames are shown in the Japanese alphabet
We were getting reports from users who are seeing the artist names in the app in Japanese even though their app language is in a different language. This has been fixed and a couple of users in the thread confirmed it's back to normal as well! 🎊
7. Artist’s Monthly Listeners Disappeared
Some users weren't able to see the monthly listeners count on artist profiles in the app, but a fix was implemented and they should be visible again.
8. Login screen issue on Polestar and Volvo (AAOS)
There was a weirdly formatted login screen in Volvo and Polestar vehicles, so the users weren’t able to log in by scanning the QR code, since it was cropped.
There was also an Ongoing Issue about users getting logged out from the app in Polestar cars. All good now!
9. Podcast "Recently Updated" list not updating
Quite a lot of users were affected by this Ongoing Issue that we had, but the "Recently Updated" sorting option for podcasts is now up and working properly!
10. Change lyrics position
This was submitted as an Idea and users were reporting that the Lyrics Icon was moved in the desktop app, so our tech folks had a look and it's now in it's previous place. Thanks for flagging! 💚
11. Unable to add google account as login method
A "Something went wrong" error message popped up when trying to add a second log in method - it's all looking good now ✌️
12. App Crashing on iOS when scrolling in "Discover something new"
Pretty self-explanatory title - and the issue was resolved in one of the latest app updates.
13. (Android) Screen enters sleep mode when viewing lyrics
A fix has been released with the latest Spotify version so make sure to update your app if you haven't already!
UNDER INVESTIGATION
14. Users on Android devices can't play content in Offline mode
Our tech folks are currently looking into this. If you're experiencing this issue, make sure to add your vote and subscribe to the thread from the three dots menu at the top to stay tuned. ✅
15. [Sonos] Spotify randomly starts playing another song
For now we don't have any news to share but this has been forwarded to the right teams.
16. Playback issues: Songs going silent on Android app
Our tech team is having difficulties pinpointing the root cause of the issue and in order for them to do so, it'd be great if you can share the requested info. 🤝
17. Smart Shuffle keeps turning itself on
Same thing here - let us know if you experience the same thing and share the details in the thread.
18. (Desktop) Playback issues with local files
Our tech folks are currently investigating this so make sure to subscribe to the thread in order to not miss out on any updates.
19. Mobile app freezes upon launch on iOS
A relatively recent issue, so it'd be helpful if you can share the requested info if you're affected. ✍️

20. Arrow keys doesnt work in search bar within desktop app
In case anyone has experienced this issue, it should be fixed now, but we still want to check with you folks so do let us know!
21. App keeps switching to repeat
We're still getting new reports about this, but we do need some additional details in order to forward it to our tech folks. You can find what the requested info is in the Top Answer in the thread, thanks! 🤝
22. "Made for you" playlists not working on Garmin
A few changes were implemented and we're not able to reproduce the issue anymore. If you were affected, can you check if it's back to normal and let us know in the thread?
23. MiniPlayer not showing properly
This should also be fixed, but we still need a couple more confirmations to be a 100% sure. ✍️
24. Artist Discographies No Longer In Chronological Order
Same thing here - there aren't any new comments so it's safe to assume it's working for everyone but it'd be great if you can also let us know in the thread! ✌️
