Smart recommendations

Please remove or at least allow us a way to toggle smart recommendations off.  When I want to unshuffle my playlist to listen to the songs around the one I’m currently listening too I have to wait for smart recommendations to load and then turn it off.  THEN it shuffles me to the top or a random spot in my playlist away from the spot I wanted to listen to unshuffled.  It’s annoying and unwanted for me at least.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

It's currently not possible to remove smart shuffle recommendations. However, we can see how being able to toggle them off would be a handy feature and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.

In addition, it seems like the Community folks have already created an Idea about this. If you'd like to see Smart Shuffle toggle setting in settings menu, we'd suggest that you check this idea here. Make sure you leave your vote to support it, so that it would have a better chance of being considered, as Spotify always strives to improve your experience.
