Hi there @lespons,

The Dislike/Hide song option on Desktop is only available on the Discover Weekly and the Release Radar playlists.

If you don't see the option in those two on your desktop app, try running a clean reinstallation, following the exact steps from this Spotify Answer.

If it still not show after that send us a screenshot of how your Discover Weekly looks when opened on the app on your computer.

Thanks.

Hi!

Dislike songs aren't possible on Spotify, except on your Discover Weekly playlists, giving feedbacks to dislike artists or songs (only on Desktop/ macOS app).

Also, If you are a Premium user, you can hide songs in any playlists.

Have the same issue for app on Mac, (Application is updated 22 Nov, 2020)
playlist is Weekly

I have dislike button in mobile app only (Android)

Same problem here.

All my 'dislike/don't play this again buttons' in Made for You playlists (a.o. Discover Weekly, Release Radar) are gone since the update last week, on MacOS (1.1.46.916.g416cacf1-a, updated last week), as well as on Windows 10 (same version number).

Also the option to see the album cover full screen is gone btw since the updates.

So I rather believe Spotify on purpose removed the button (and full-screen album cover) instead of the necessity of a clean install.

Am I right? Can the dislike button please return?

Hi there @AntoineK,

If you client looks different after the last update on Desktop you might be part of the New Desktop experience test.

There is a thread in the Community where the developers welcome direct user feedback on how you feel about the new design. Check it out here.

Note that this new experience will change over time and the client will not look this way forever, even though we can't give you exact dates.

Hope you find this info useful.

Thanks @Alex.

Did not know I was a beta tester. Some points to improve, some of the new design feels a bit strange, some parts are ok/nice.

Antoine

Hi @AntoineK,

If you'd like to share your feedback it's better to do in the thread I've linked in the last post. This way it will go straight to the developer team 🙂

Thanks for your time. If you have more questions you can always give us a shout.
