My Question or Issue
I have crossfade even if the toggle is off. I managed to remove it putting the crossfade time at 0. I switched the toggle off afterward and now it is working, but just because the time is 0 (it's like the toggle is not there).
Yesterday I reinstalled the app and it started to work again properly, but it stopped now and even putting the crosfade time at 0 seconds it still happens.
Hey @riccardo_bonanomi,
Thanks for reaching out.
Can you please confirm you're speaking of the transition between tracks and not the fade-out/fade-in effect you hear when stopping/resuming playback? If the latter, then please note that this feature can't be disabled. If the former, then please send over a video of the issue (if possible), so we can investigate further.
Looking forward to your reply.
Exactly, it's the transition between tracks that gives me problem. I will try to make a video asap (hopefully this evening or evenutally tomorrow morning (CET) ).
Here's the video. In the beginning the crossfade is disabled, then the time is set to 0 and in both cases is not working properly. Then I set an higher than zero time and there it worked properly. Moreover this does not happen every time. Today in the beginning I did not have the issue, but after a while it started without changing nothing.
Hey @riccardo_bonanomi,
Thanks for getting back to us with that video.
The behavior you're seeing is indeed not expected. Can you please confirm that you've reinstalled the app following the exact steps under Clean reinstall in this guide? Also, is it possible to test whether the issue persists when using a different account on the same device?
Keep us posted.
Yes, I've already tried to uninstall it and then reinstalling back, it worked at first, but then the issue came back (as it is intermittent for no apparent reason). I will try to test it with another account, but since it is intermittent it could take a bit to see the issue.
