[Desktop][Connect] Easy solution to error 4

After looking on google and the community forum to solve the famous error 4, the easiest way in my case, was just to disable the firewall of windows, just go to settings- update and security- windows security- virus protection- firewall and network protection and finally on domain network disable the option windows defender firewall. in my case, i opened spotify , worked fine, and then just enable firewall again, and spotify keeps working fine.

i hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing and I'm sure this has helped some people, but not me sadly. Even disabled firewall inside control panel but continue getting the Error 4 code.
The only thing that's working for me is downgrading back to a September 2019 version of Spotify, but this is only a temporary option as Spotify will always auto-update upon restart.
