How to disable Find Friend tab

Lately there is a Find Friends tab began to show up on my right panel. I do not want to follow or add anybody. How can I get rid of that useless panel permanently? I even disabled Facebook but it is still there.

What Spotify version do you have? It might be that you are in a testgroup.

I am having the same issue. I never linked spotify to facebook (I don't have an account there anyway). The reason I use spotify is to listen to music, not to find friends. I have scoured all of the settings, but the panel seems to be stuck there. It's especially problematic on my work machine, since it has a pretty low resolution and the thing takes up a lot of space for nothing.

I have almost the same version: 0.9.11.27.g2b1a638.81-1

In the latest version click 'View' then uncheck friend feed.

This now seems to be "Activity feed" in the 0.9.17 linux client, but still accomplishes the same thing.

1) settings

2) scroll down to through options

3) GO TO DISPLAY OPTIONS

4) DISABLE "SHOW FRIENDS FEED"

For my Spotify version, I went to 'View' and clicked 'Right Sidebar.' It might be that or something else, but it will be under 'View.'
