Several issues when using VPN

My Question or Issue
I use a VPN for reasons not concerning to Spotify. A few weeks ago several issues with the Spotify app have risen:
- I am unable to play songs from any artist page;
- Spotify Connect doesn't work unless I turn off the VPN;
- Podcasts don't load;
- Liked songs playlist is empty.
Thing I have tried:
- Restarting my computer;
- Performed a Clean Install of the Spotify App;
- Used the Windows Store version of Spotify;
- Logged out and in of my account;
- Disabled Malware, Ads and Tracking block in the VPN settings;
- Added Spotify.exe to the VPN split-tunneling feature;
- All device firmware is up to date;
- Created a new account and everything works fine even with VPN turned on.
I have been paying for Premium for years now and on the verge of switching to another streaming service since I cannot use a lot of Spotify's features when using a VPN. All other apps work fine, but not Spotify.
