Suggestions for Spotify

I think there should be a thread where the community of Spotify can suggest ways to improve the Service so hopefully moderators will have a singular thread to read sort of like a suggestion box. I think that spotify for PC should be able to

-Delete radio stations

-Search within a playlist

Keep the list going so Moderators will pay attention

I was exploring that right as you posted. I am new here and got lost... but all is good now that I see that Ideas like these are getting attention

The New MESSAGING System is an improvement but not quite organized properly. What works is organizing the messages by an individual user (on the left column). What doesn't work is the information within the user (the right column). It needs to look more like the current "Follow" section (keeping the 'List' view, just larger row height - holding more information). By default, everytime you open the MESSAGES tab, all the rows in the list should be the same size. If the row isn't large enough to hold the users message, you can click on the row to expand the remaining message.

Because I'm taken out of the list view, I'm immediately confused. There's no distinction between Albums and Songs and you cannot play them consecutively. It would also help to have the 'SENT' messages slightly highlighted in a color OR possbily 'recieved' is left justified and 'sent' is right justified (like iOS). Ok, thank you.

When I play the radio and have setup my own radio stations with likes and dislikes I wish you would ask "What" it is that I like or dislike, whether it be just that particular song or that particular artist.  If I don't like an artist I don't want to have that artist play "ANY" songs on my radio station. I don't want to have to keep "disliking" over and over again just because it is a different song by that artist. Also, please stop suggesting songs or stations by artists that I dislike. If I don't like something I don't want to ever see it again unless I search for it and change my mind about them later.

Was just wondering if you had the means to put in a delete doubles button? I have multiples of so many of my songs and it would be so much easier if I could delete all but one of them with just a click of a button.

I think spotify should not add a song twice to a playlist (or there should be an option to disable this)

When a user drags a song a second time into a playlist it should not appear twice...

Hi all,

I'm an avid user of Spotify, and I'm very satisfied with the service of Spotify.
A while ago some changes were put through.
But, not all for the better:

It's impossible to sort songs, albums, artists ALPHABETICALLY (cfr Excel)

Huge setback

Also, two suggestions:

1. HIstory: it could be handy to save your listening history

2. Playlist: ist songs from new (more recently added) to old (oldest added)

Hi @theowlofthegame , please shout if I misunderstand but:

You can sort on any of the headers by clicking on them in all views as far as I can see. The only exception is with search results, which is discussed here.

There is a limited history available under Play queue/history but you can also have spotify scrobble to last.fm.

Click on the "date added" heading to sort tracks in a playlist on that.

1. Stop making big banners for new released albums. It is disturbing. A small regular size is enough. I want to see what is new but not that much 🙂

2. Place the "recently played" list button at left top pane to make it more visible.

I'm new here also, and I can't seem to have permission to add or edit or even view the ideas Exchange. I've been trying to add the idea or find a place to post the idea of when sorting music into playlist can there be a number of how many copies of that specific track are already in that playlist. I'm an Android user and I don't know if that feature is already on desktop but if it is can we please implement it for the Android users.. plz help.
