Hey all in this thread!
I might have a solution for you, try these steps:
In your situation CSRSS.EXE (Microsoft Client Server Subsystem) may attempt to locate media which don't exist
I was getting this error too and tracked the root cause of it down to the 'Show songs from iTunes' setting under 'Local Files' in the settings page (which you get to from Edit > Preferences).
I don't know why that option is even there as I don't think I've ever installed iTunes on this particular computer (though I have installed it on other computers in the past, and possibly had my music folder on the F:\ drive on my previous computer too), so perhaps it's a setting that 'roams'.
In any case, toggling that setting to off solved the problem without me having to resort to editing the registry to suppress the error message (which in my opinion is not a great idea as it might cause real errors to be suppressed in other applications).
Having same issue (as of 5:30 AM CST) and cannot get the pop up box with the error message to close. Spotify loads and runs normally.
Me too. It started yesterday morning.
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive..."
I have this same error, too. It started yesterday and is still happening. Spotify works but I can't get that error box to go away without closing Spotify completely.
After it had been running for about an hour, I got the error message window to close. It never affected the use of Spotify. Hopefully they corrected the issue!
May I join the club? Mystified but without a solution

Thank you Martin. You may be a Rock Star / Computer Star but you are also my hero. Solution : simple, elegant and it works!
Glad to hear that everything is fine with you @D9vid!
Happy listening
This worked! Thank you!
Thank you! it works
I have been having the same error message as well. And the error message will only go away once I have closed Spotify. I tried Martin's solution and it worked. Thanks so much Martin!!
Totally worked for me! Thanks!!
Thanks Martin. That was the most annoying thing ever. You get top props today.
This worked for me too! Thanks MartinStoichkov
This work for me too!
Thank you very much from a non-technical person for such clear advice

This didn't work for me. I don't have the final folder in the line you desribe. Mine only goes to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
After that the only remaining folder is- Print
No- Windows folder after that.
Any suggestions?
Hello @jhamptonia, that's really odd.
Can you provide a screenshot, to see what is there?
These folders are Windows standard folders, and should be there, try to restart your computer and see if there is any difference. If not, I assume it's something related to your Windows version.
If you didn't find the folder anyway, you can try to re-install Spotify, as this usually helps for many ongoing issues, thanks!
I've attached a screenshot. I've tried restarting the computer. I've tried uninstalling Spotify and reinstalling it. Nothing is working so far. Help me Obi-wan, you're my only hope~
