[All Platforms] Block / disallow suggestions for certain content

The last 8 times I've opened Spotify I've been greeted by a big waiting Bible podcast recommendation sat there. I get the hint Spotify, but stop. It was cool the first time. It was boring the second. And it is in fact so annoying by the 8th time that I have to write this post to ask for this feature to be implemented.

I hope it's been made clear: I don't want to listen to the bible, much less on Spotify, and there is no way within the app to ask it to stop recommending me this, honestly, outrageously offensive content. I would very much appreciate this feature, thanks in advance. I'm sure the bible people would appreciate such a feature as well!

I've done everything, I've downvoted I've tried my best to listen to every other podcast, but there he is. I listen to 12 podcasts regularly, but his podcast keeps coming up, i dont want him on my feed. I don't care that you paid him 200 million, it's content I don't want. How do I block his podcast?

I see Rogan too all the time on Spotify.

It only makes me feel I am glad I canceled Premium because of him. Actually I cancled also because money.

I am completely fine with Free option and ads do not bother me. I just wish to get Rogan off my screen.

Everybody and their mother is trying to slap some sense into Spotify right now about this. I just wrote a post on it. They are abusing notification tabs which is extremely unethical and I think is even illegal in some places. Nobody wants to be forced to see someone else's content on their page constantly that they're not subscribed to. I personally enjoy some of the guy's content but it's just... Spotify is music and this is stupid. People who want to listen to music and subscribe to their services ... I mean like it's not like this is the first time some service has decided to force political content or yakking onto us when we're honestly trying to use the service for something completely different.... like how could they be so f**king stupid

C'mon, just let us block the bad podcasts from showing up every day in our feeds. Spotify's obviously scared that the idea will receive enough votes.

Did anyone of you managed to get Rogan off from your app?

I can not stand seeing his podcast under Good evening options. It is here for weeks now.

I do not care about Joe Rogan, please make him disappear quickly!

On laptop and phone, I ran offered updated and it changed suggestions. Worked...

I posted this two years and some change ago… and the irony is that because it wasn’t something that enough people navigated your convoluted posting process to vote on - the case is closed.

Another suggestion Spotify - make it easier to post about relevant topics under headings that easily explain the content. It is a real process investigate each topic within the message board to decide the heading that accurately describes your request. It’s stunning to me that … two years later … Spotify listeners are still punished for the sh!t ton of money you allocated to a narcissistic uniformed person with a microphone.  I have socks more informed on news worthy events. If you continue to host a platform for this, that’s your business.  I just want the ability to block content. I want the ability to block my teen son’s account of questionable **bleep** like this because I pay for his plan and he is a minor. Freedom of speech… sure. I would like the option to opt out of this trash if I feel like it. It’s crazy I can decide not to listen to the soundtrack from the Lion King, banning it forever from my ears… but Joe Rogan, carry on.

I pay for premium and I want to be able to swipe stuff off the daily drive playlist if I don’t want to listen to it.

2-3 minutes of news is ok, bit don’t repeat it over and over please, and then sufdenly there is a 15 minute podcast that disputs my music listening enjoyment.

please give us the option to dislike or block content we do not want.

I think people would rather you section off the recommended stuff and allow for more content personalization. I fof one don't like seeing somthing I only checked out at the front and part of my home screen indefinitely
