This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

spotify doesn't care about the users requests. horrible customer service. basically tell you to just deal with the playlists you don't want to see because they can't delete anything on their end. But they're able to force playlists on me without my approval? Something doesn't seem right. Why force me to follow a playlist Spotify created, only to decide they don't want to update it anymore. After 3 years it is still showing in the "uniquely yours" section. Spotify support seems to think that if you listen to other playlists they'll replace the ones in "uniquely yours". Just goes to show how clueless support is

F^$# this sh$t. I hate NPR with a passion but you're telling me it just showed up on my "Your Shows" without me ever listening to it and there's absolutely nothing I can do to remove it from the Home page that I see every single time I get in my car? You suck so hard.

Spotify gives an update 5 years later that they still do not care about what you want on your home page. But you can remove items in sub pages? - WHAT?! Just let us remove playlists and albums from our home page. I have a playlist that has been stuck front and center for like 2 years. It's super lame! I do not want it there anymore. I've listened to so many other playlists since, and it's still there.

please help me, I have a phobia for dolls and recently because of Halloween, there are profiles showing doll figures and it seriously scares me, and want to throw up. it troubles me to sleep just because of the image I saw when I opened the app. I really want to hide at least that specific podcast but I've searched and failed to do so. I don't know if any of you understand the seriousness of my situation but I want to give it a shot and send here my concern. thanks

quit and canceled with this making the app unable to be tolerated anymore.

my discover weekly constantly is songs I already have saved or completely unrelated to what I listen to for 2-3 years and counting, have to click shuffle each time a new playlist starts for some reason when before itd always be on if I chose, THEN what made me too uncomfortable is months of opening Spotify and first thing is seeing documentaries on sexual assault, murder, and so many traumas I listen to spotify to get away from and escape, without a option to make them not appear I can't feel good anytime I open it which leads to it not being used or needing paid for anymore.

Never even listened to a podcast before and zero intentions, these ruined what was a good app for me, this is UNACCEPTABLE in a world of severely rising costs.
