This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Local Files and Your Episodes are always stuck to the top of Your Libary. Can't move these two. Your Episodes is only visible when you have episodes saved. Please fix this. Don't want to have these two at the top. Thanks 🙂

When you listen to a playlist it goes to you're home screen and if you get tired of it being there 

You can remove it just by simply holding the playlist and a option to remove the playlist

The main tiles on the app dynamically change, presumably to "jump back in" but this is sometimes (often) not desirable behaviour. For example, as I work right now, the tiles on my Spotify have "vehicle songs for kids" and some other tiles for a song listening to a total of once on it. As my young son is next to me, I can’t actually do the work as I have become a full time DJ, am being screamed at, and the songs are not conducive to work. Also, I’m sure there are situations where perhaps the tiles are not desirable, for example my kid listened to Poo **bleep** Poo **bleep** by Poopy Man and now I have I large poo icon on my home screen, and mis clicking it (which is quite easy to do on the IOS tile) and firing up these probably not suitable for work songs as if they were my jam was another undesirable user experience. Im sure this list can go on but I've embarrassed myself enough. Right clicking appears to allow me to "add to library", "add to queue" "start a jam" "report" download" "exclude from taste profile" "add to folder" "add to another playlist" "go to artist radio" "add to playlist" and "share" etc etc , most of which probably seem to compound my problem. Can we add any of the following options please 'Remove giant Poo icon tile from home screen" "Banish to Abyss" "Ruthlessly consume every pixel of this icon" or simply, "hide" and "hide and keep hidden". Also, maybe just add Grown Up Mode that filters the Cocomelon proactively as well as a kids mode that brings these jams to the front again.

It would be great if you would allow users to control top 8 at top of feed. For some reason you keep highlighting podcasts I don't care about. Let us control our own preferences.

The current interface is horrible. I just want to listen to music. I don't need podcasts, videos, concerts and other stupid merchandise. 

Let users choose what they want to see and what not. And stop deleting things that work in the app. And for god sake bring back overall playlist shuffle back. You deleted this years ago, without any reasons.

And the current, new tab at the bottom is also horrible. Why change the position of the library and add the '+' button. I don't want it, I don't need it and everytime I click the wrong button now.

Unfortunately you guys at Spotify never listen or listened to any user feedback. So actually this community is useless and a waste of time.

I want to be able to decide what pops up on my screen, or IF anything does entirely. Whether that be full windows popping up telling me someone is on tour, new or established artists that are being pushed to me, different categories/ genres, etc. Especially if I am paying for premium. I don't listen to podcasts or audiobooks almost ever, so I don't want those in front of what I do listen to. Let us move different categories like 'Jump Back In' or 'Audiobooks For You' or 'State Of Music Today' up or down, or just remove them. I could understand having a feed, but that's not really what it is now. I use the search function a lot, but recently, when I click to search, Spotify will pop up a window telling me Gunna is on tour and not let me type. I think I may have three Gunna songs liked or saved anywhere, and I have no interest even going to a concert. It's cool to know, if I want to know, but I am being halted when I use Spotify for work/research because I'm being sold something. Music is one of the most important parts of our lives. To some of us, it is our life. Let us music. Muhrilly out love u all
