[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

PLEASE, spotify.   I pay for this app.  Let me delete your worthless recommendations.  I listen to a podcast once for 2 minutes and hate it.  So...now it's forever in my home page feed.   Not cool.

I'd take the price increase to REMOVE all podcasts from my account and any ads around it. I'm not a perv. 

But yeah, i'm checking apple music. Podcast is a separate app, so it's not shoved down your throat.

Give us a way to remove shortcuts.  One listen to something "racy" for example, can't be removed and when family or friends see the Home Screen it can be embarrassing.  Not only that, but Spotify then seems to suggest many more similar podcasts of the same nature making it look like that's all I'm interested in listening too!  There MUST be some option to modify or delete unwanted Shortcuts and limited suggested listening options that are unwanted!

I totally agree with this and this is the reason I don't use Spotify as much as I intend to. Now, they even put podcasts on second place of the home screen, which I never ever listened to.

Anyway, unfortunately, Spotify never listen to our complains. I'm fighting for years for a screensaver for the smartTV app, with lots of people asking for the same and they don't care. All they care about is collecting our money.

I'm considering moving to Tidal.

Heyyy, since the Spotify monthly price is increasing, will the ads/spam disappear from the start screen as well?

I'm disappointed this wasn't taken more seriously. This is a good idea. Spotify Radio works great, but we can't tailor what displays for each of us or fully block artists to adjust to our individual tastes? I'm open to suggestions, but I don't want artists I don't like showing up - even having selected "Don't play this artist" and explicitly indicating I don't want to listen to specific people.

a "block playlist" feature would be great! it's currently only possible to block artists/tracks
