[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

...but even more annoying is that SHUFFLE doesn't play all the songs in a play list!  REALLY?  That still isn't fixed.

I have recently updated Spotify and, overall, I like the new interface. However, can you please remove (or at least offer an option to turn off) the large, green, hideously intrusive "SHUFFLE PLAY" button hovering at the top of every album I'm trying to play?

I have no idea what was wrong with the old shuffle function, but this new button is very annoying.

I have been a premium subscriber for a while now but decided to cancel my Premium account yesterday due to this button.

I have browsed the forums and noticed there are many other users who hate this button, and their posts have been moved to "new ideas" by the Spotify staff. Are these views being considered? If so, when can those of us who hate this button expect a change to be implemented?

When it does, I will renew my Premium subscription.

The big shuffle button is actually useful when you are on the move so you don't get distracted, it allows you to quickly start playing music almost without looking away from the road.

I would go for adding an option to turn it off for the ones that don't need/like it.

Remove the darn shuffle button or add an option to hide it.

I admit this big button has its purpose in "Songs"view, where easily enables to shuffle all songs. But i have no idea why its in album or artist view, where user wants to focus primarily on content, not UI. Its really distracting and unnecessarily clutters precious dislay space.

Please, consider adding option to hide it or at least remove it from album and artist view.

I agree with everyone. Shuffle should just be an option. I just want to play my songs in my order, when I like.....and shuffle them IF I want to.

Please get rid of that giant, unmotivated shuffle button. I never shuffle my lists, nor want to shuffle an album. That this big green button presents itself as the way to play music on each and every page gives me the feeling the designers at Spotify arrogantly tell me not to care about the thought and effort put into music and album layout by the artists. Well I do. I suggest making the play mode started by the huge button selectable. Let a long tap on it switch between shuffle and regular play!
