[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

That shuffle play button in albums is sofa king annoying! It's one of the reasons why i'm trigger happy with the unsubscribe. If I want to listen to an album, why on earth would I shuffle it? I want to play the album. Furthermore, I'd love to add another album to play next and NOT interrupt the current album flow.

Just signed up for Premium and so far loving the service. BUT...

Why the feck is that enormous Shuffle button taking up the prime space on the screen?! Original poster makes the point better than me. I notice s/he originally posted in 2014 so...

Does anyone from Spotify actually read these pages? 

Please fix this ASAP - it completely wastes the app IMHO, and Shuffle already exists as an option anyway - no need for the Big Stupid Button...

Please make the mobile version like the pc version cause on my pc I cloud pick whatever song I wanted whenever without shuffle and without the stupid skip limit. This almost makes me want to delete the mobile version cause I can't listen to what I want cause you made it so you can't click on any song without shuffling. At least on iTunes I can pick the songs I want. Please just make shuffle play thing go away or make it so you have to be premium to get shuffle play not the other way around.

Have you noticed that none of the other top streaming apps have a stupid green button taking up a quarter of the screen with just 2 words on it and which serves no useful purpose. They could fit a lot more on there like ... "google play music doesn't have pointless buttons" or "Apple don't mess up their interface with useless functions".. that would be so much more useful.

I really like the shuffle button to go or have the option to change it to just 'play'.

In my car I made the mistake of pressing it unwanted too often .. Just because it's big and green.
