[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

Yes, get rid of shuffle as a default. People just want to go to an álbum, see a list of the tracks and play it in sequence, unless they click a track in the list. Something like shuffle play should obviously be an option, not something it takes an age to get rid of

Just stop the Spotify subscription and start using something else. I'm very satisfied with Tidal after many years with Spotify. The only reason to jump over was the fat, green Shuffle button. Spotify developers must be insane to put it there in the first place.

Well, this button must be an elementary part of the Spotify app, if not the reason for it's existence.

In case I'm wrong: Please remove it. It's just annoying, nothing else.

I think it is a waste, of time and a mistake, to mess, with the "Shuffle Button". Although, you have the right, to dislike it, I think you don't fully understand how the application works, maybe just the benefits, of the button. You can play, the album, or playlist, from the beginning, as intended, by tapping, or clicking the first song. You can also take the music out, of shuffle mode, at the bottom, of the "Song Full Screen", across, from "Repeat". If anything, the "Shuffle" and " Repeat" should also show up, when the full screen is dropped, on each side, of the artist and song/album title, where they are basically already lined up, at (Shuffle left and Repeat right). This would allow quick access, to them, while elsewhere, on the Spotify application. I also like hiw the big "Shuffle Button" stays, while you scroll, so you can hit it, at any time.

Hey, i'm new to spotify. Just paid my first subscription and i'm already annoyed by this "shuffle play" on iphone. Why isn't there a normal "Play" button instead? just like the desktop app?

we're in 2016, and i guess no solution yet, right?

Why on earth would I want that on my screen, its quite obtrusive.

Please remove or give an option to disable but I see this has been an ongoing issue for sometime

and looks like the change will never come, even after all these annoyed comments about it.

Hi, no if you have not a premium account, anyway the shuffle button will be
there...

There is a way, but a little difficult to find, and very easy to
accidentaly getting back to shuffle because of that stupid button if you
got man sized hands. The easiest way was to cancel subscription and start
to use Tidal instead.
