[Discover Weekly] View previous Discover Weekly Playlists

The discover weekly feature is excellent, however I was disappointed yesterday to notice that last weeks playlist had disappeared. It would be great to be able to view previous discover weekly playlists.

Thanks

This idea is really really good, maybe add a button to add the entire discover weekly to a playlist.

As I said earlier - a few clicks to save a discover weekly playlist as a new one - I review them weekly and keep what I like.

1. Click the top track in the list.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the list.

3. Hold down the shift key.

4. Click the bottom track - ((this should highlight all tracks in the list)).

5. Right click in the list and select "add to playlist" > NewPlaylist

Then all you need to do is edit NewPlaylist and give it a meaningful name.

I can't possibly upvote this idea enough! This is the one thing about Spotify that kills me sometimes: my Discover Weekly rolls over and I've neglected to add some really good songs that are likely lost in the sands forever! Or, I miss several of them due to life happening and am forever wondering what I missed.

Here's one option:   https://rile.yt/rediscover/#rediscover

I set  a reminder on my iphone at 9 pm every Sunday night to make my own copy and rename it DW possibles.  Then i go through it at my convenience and save just the ones i really like into another playlist.    And i do the  exact same thing for Thursday night for the new Release Radar coming out on Friday morning.

there's another 3rd party service which creates a backup copy of just the Discover Weekly on their website, i think i paid $10 for it:    https://discover-backup.com/    it sends me an email around Wednesday each week that my Discover Weekly playlist has been saved on their site.  it stays there forever i guess because there's no way to delete them.   But it doesn't work on Release Radar.      Hope this helps!

I use this link for free some years ago.

It makes an automatic back up of Spotify weekly playlist without having to do anything

Every monday or tuesday. Never failed.

I love the discover weekly feature but am always so disappointed when it disappears but I wasn't finished going through all the songs. Particularly for the week of 11/05/20-17/05/20 I had SUCH A GOOD discover weekly playlist going but I couldn't find the time to finish it because of working on submitting final assignments. I was so crushed when I re-opened the playlist and all the songs I was looking to listen to. Especially because the new week isn't as good as the last one. Please let us be able to access our previous weeks. I don't see what the issue would be with making this feature available?

Hi,

I had the same problem but, since I found this site below, all my Discovery weekly playlist are copied in a new playlist every weeks. For free and I do not have to do nothing.

I popped on to this Forum to see if others have inquired about this. Even just making the previous week's playlist accessible would be great - Some weeks I think "hey I really like this song" but I'm not always able to save it off or add it to a playlist, then before you know it I don't have a chance to get back on Spotify before the weekend's over and there goes my chance to save them 😞
