Lyrics support for Apple TV app

Lyrics have been a great addition to Spotify apps across several of my devices, but on the latest Spotify app for my Apple TV 4K, the feature doesn’t seem to be available. Roku and Xbox already appear to have support, so it would be great to have this feature on Apple’s streaming platform as well.

"I am also disappointed by the lack of lyrics on Apple TV. I will definitely unsubscribe at the end of my subscription period if this feature isn't added. My family loves singing along to songs.

Trying this again since the latest I saw was back in 2022!

 

Having the option to display lyrics on AppleTV would be awesome. Also, having a “karaoke mode” where the lyrics show line by line would be great for at-home karaoke, slumber parties, or just for those of us who like to sing along to our music! Upvote to finally get this feature on AppleTV! 🎤😄🎶

I see the spotify app on Apple TV updated on 2 August 2024 and still no lyrics support! Come on guys, this is terrible. We're paying good money for your service, so we deserve to enjoy ALL the features and have the same good experience that your other customers are enjoying. When will this feature be added? PLEASE!

As this idea has been open since 2021 and hasn’t yet resulted in any action I have created my own idea a while back. Be sure to upvote that one so it once again shows up in Spotify’s agenda!

Please, try to shape up the Apple TV app ASAP. No DJ, No lyrics, No Music videos… Just saying, it would habe been great.

Its almost end of 2024 and still no lyrics on Apple TV - whereas the ideas submission started in 2021.

This post was last updated in 2022, but my Spotify app for Apple TV still does not display lyrics. Sooooo, when are lyrics gonna be available?
