[Music] ASIO Output Support

Please can you add support for an ASIO audio output device?

As a owner of a separate headphone DAC + Amp, I get much better quality music when I'm using the bit-perfect ASIO output rather than DirectSound, which changes the audio bitstream before it reaches the DAC. ASIO output would be a great compliment to the Spotify high-quality streaming.

I too would love to have native ASIO ánd for me even better: WASAPI support. I'm using JRiver MC and Spotify both on the same Windows 8 PC but now I have to first shutdown JRiver before I can use Spotify (which isn't practical since the PC I'm using is headless (no keyboard/mouse/screen) and I remote control both JRiver and Spotify using my iPad (using JRemote and Remoteless).

I know I can fix this by not using WASAPI Exclusive Mode but I want the highest possible quality out of JRiver since it contains my CD rips and high res downloads.

So Spotify please add the support!

Please get Asio or WASAPI support. Sportify is useless for audiophiles without this.

to pay for premium is a lot of money for that poor audio quality - it´s useless to have listening pleasure, just enough for a "prelistening" of unknown groups and musicans, if there are listed. There are a lot of web radios with better quality.

We are allready a bigger community here in Helsinki are planning to cancel the order of the premium account when there is nothing done to improve the sound quality last YEARS.

Exhibition HIFI Expo 2013 is one forum where folks crying over this fenomen ...this year 😞

To use ASIO would be much better..or FLAC but that seems to be far too much in year 2013.

Looks like going back to CDs and ordering HD track on the web is the only way.

Especially on acoustic instruments and classic music you will hear de difrence clearly.

Asio or wasapi support is really what we need!! All good players inc. to choose audio output device. You just add more some stuff in player, but quality "systems" are been same many years... and sorry my bad english 🙂
