[Music] ASIO Output Support

Please can you add support for an ASIO audio output device?

As a owner of a separate headphone DAC + Amp, I get much better quality music when I'm using the bit-perfect ASIO output rather than DirectSound, which changes the audio bitstream before it reaches the DAC. ASIO output would be a great compliment to the Spotify high-quality streaming.

Thanks!

Would love to see this enhancement! Spotify is a great service and it deserves the audiophile treatment! 🙂

We need ASIO or WASAPI support. Please hurry!

Your service is useless to me without WASAPI/ASIO support, what is even the point of high quality source material if it ends up getting ruined through the Microsoft audio stack

PLEASE SUPPORT ASIO OR WASAPI FOR BETTER SOUND QUALITY

When listening to ogg/vorbis audio files I prefer to use the ASIO driver (www.asio4all.com). ASIO really enhances the sound quality. In listening tests comparable ogg/vorbis high res music sources outside Spotify played using ASIO gives a much higher sound quality than similar sources played through the Spotify software (allways using an external DAC). Better sound drivers is even more important than lossless streaming of CD-qualtiy music.

I´m able to listen to some of my Spotify playlists through http://www.fidelify.net using the ASIO driver. The sound quality is MUCH better using ASIO than just listening through the standard Spotify application. Fidelify is nice, but the Fidelify program is not finished (many bugs), and it would be easier to use the Spotify program directly if Spotify supported ASIO or another high quality sound driver. It's well known among hifi enthusiasts that the standard Windows audio driver should be buypassed to get better sound quality.

High bit-rate streaming of ogg/vorbis compressed music revolutionized my listening to classical music.  Thanks a lot for a great service. But Spotify really needs a better sound driver on Windows to unleash its full potential.

Kind regards from

Thanks:)

Please add ASIO/WASAPI support.

Thanks!

Please add ASIO support. Fidelify is one of the main reason I chose sportify over other streaming services. Thanks!

+1!

This a much needed feature... Spotify devs should listen to paying customers...

Please add ASIO support. It almost seems pointless to pay extra for higher bitrates if Spotify lets Windows mix the audio. Thanks

Why can't you add WASAPI support to Spotify? It's a default feature in Windows, any application can run the sound driver in a private mode via WASAPI. I'm trying Premium for 30 days but won't be paying even 5 € for the Unlimited until the WASAPI (and ASIO) support is added. Fidelity shows how much better Spotify could sound if the DirectSound could be bypassed. DirectSound really destroys the definition, clarity and makes the music sound sloppy.

And come on, fix the gapless playback!
