Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Please bring back touch preview it made it so much easier to discover new music in a seamless way without having to tap each song and skip through it. PLEASE all of us are begging you

What a terrible decision.... and how interesting that you say you are trying to make the experience as enjoyable as possible, yet there is no way this feature ever took away from any user's experience. Now, with this regression, the app has become must less enjoyable as you can't simply preview a song you've never heard before with a simple touch and hold. So, like some other user said, it seems like you took this away either due to technical difficulties or artist disputes. Interestingly enough, you now HAVE TO press play on a song, even just to preview it. Hmm.. More plays for artists? Whatever the case, this was a BAD decision. I will be much happier using Spotify when it has returned.

Please bring this feature back, so useful and could easily just be a toggle on/off preference in the settings. 

Why remove such such cool features that competitors don't have. 

Advertise the feature as a bonus and people will use it as a user experience - I'm not convinced on the low user engagement

Tbh, that’s not fair to the many people who do use this feature. I really enjoyed scumming through the preview snippets to find new songs. Now I have to search it on YouTube just because I want to hear what it will sound like. It’s not laziness but it is a hassle. Bring back the touch preview, it’s very important. THE best thing Spotify had that set them apart from the rest.

HOW am i supposed to know if i like a song without listening to the WHOLE thing or see if my playlist flows together or try to remember a song quickly without the preview feature. since the removal i kept trying to preview songs and then would get upset because there was a glitch that wouldnt let me because i KNEW spotify wouldn't be DUMB enough to remove the BEST feature. im very disappointed and dont know if i can continue supporting u. im sure apple music has a preview button.

Low engagement rate?! I used it.

I was positive I was doing something wrong, that Spotify would never intentionally remove a useful and unique feature. I was very disappointed when I learned you actually removed Touch Preview! I can’t say how I actually feel or the post would be yanked for vulgarity.

You wouldn’t rip out the EQ feature just because only 30%* of your user base uses EQ! Would you?  

*percentage pulled from thin air. I customized my EQ setting and haven’t touched EQ settings since. Would this make me a low-engagement user of EQ?
