[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

Yeah all of this wroted here on forum is true please advertised this wonderful funktion! And so bring it back!  It is thing that is must to have! Possibly is technicaly for yours internet servers harder to provide while the people are using this feature more and more. Why not bought better servers or more servers. I would like pay more bugs for spotify BUT WITH this feature!!! After last uptade is using this app back in stone age! HORRIBLE!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!  HORRIBLE!!

Very inconvenient. I don't even want to use the app anymore because now if i don't know a song or can't think of which one is the one i'm looking for off the top of my head I have to go on youtube and individually search each song. it's the worst most time consuming thing. Terrible decision.

Terrible, terrible decision. 

 

Now, "Discover" isn't an instantaneous process that gives you quick access to songs you might have never heard - you now have to commit to tapping through and playing the song. 

 

To quote 2012, "Ain't nobody got time for that."

Seriously! It literally was the dumbest possible decision they could have made! Whoever suggested it, should be fired! Please, bring it back! Seriously! Spotify will lose even more customers if they don't! You can bank on that fact!

Real dissapointing decision to remove touch preview feature which set you apart from other music apps. I have discontinued my apple music subscription to stick with spotify... guess spotify does care and wants me to go back to my integrated music app!

The most useful feature, especially when you're on discover weekly and want to just hear a bit of each song. It's a feature I used at least 5 times daily. No idea why you w removed it, completely senseless decision.

i'm calling bs. got to be a licensing/royalty issue. no other reason for getting rid of the great discovery tool/feature and  streaming service and app differentiator.
