[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

No no I promise I would never mess around about this
When it updates you’ll see under an artist where it says featuring, you click on more and that will take you to the touch preview selection
But you can also click on any song and it will just play!

I just checked and see that I have the feature as well. When I look at my playlist I see a little triangle (alla the tradional “play” button) in the album art on the left side. If I tap on the album art then it plays a portion of the song. It indicates progress by filling in a colored circle within the album art.

I am a premium customer but don't see this, maybe you all aren't understanding the feature? You should be able to hard press or hold ANYWHERE to preview songs, albums, playlists and so on.

I’m not seeing any updates on my end. I got extremely excited when I saw people commenting that the touch preview feature is back. But I’m not seeing anything. 

Anyone else who is a premium user seeing this feature back?

I do not have that set up. Are we all iPhone users on this thread? Maybe they aren’t sending updates to everyone at the same time?
